Technical Advisors

Eric Carden is a Brooklyn based video editor with National Geographic, History Channel and Travel Channel credits. He is also a member of the Brooklyn noisy synth-punk trio, Alien Trilogy

Nick Briz is a new-media artist, educator and organizer based in Chicago IL. His work has been shown internationally at festivals and institutions including the FILE Media Arts Festival (Rio de Janeiro, BR); the Images Festival (Toronto, CA); the Museum of Moving Image (NYC); Museo De Arte Contemporaneo de Caracas (Venezuela); Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago; He is regularly featured in off/online publications including Rhizome, Furtherfield and the VICE. He works collaboratively/commercially as Branger_Briz (Miami, FL). He is faculty at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago as well as at the Marwen Foundation. He is also co-founder of the international GLI.TC/H festival as well as the NO-MEDIA performance series. His work is distributed through Video Out Distribution (Vancouver, CA) as well as openly and freely on the web.

Short Documentary

Chris Shields is the Director of Photography for the Makeshift Americas short. He is a New York based artist, performer, filmmaker, cinephile, and musician who divides his time between writing and directing films, playing drums in the bands Alien Trilogy and United Waters, his solo performances as Mr. Transylvania, and catching as many repertory film screenings as possible. Chris also contributes to the critical horror podcast The Brood and cat sits regularly.
